③The net width of the stair platform shall not be less than the width of the stairs, and shall not be less than 1.10m at the same time.
④The width of the stairs is clearly stipulated in the residential design codes and must meet the requirements of fire evacuation. The width of expressive stairs in public buildings is usually too large, but attention should be paid to the relationship between the setting of handrails and the width of the stairs. That is: handrails should be provided on at least one side of the stairs. When the net width of the stairs reaches three flows, handrails should be provided on both sides. When there are four flows, a middle handrail should be added.
2. Stair handrail height
Protective stairs should be set up in vacancies such as balconies, verandas, indoor corridors, inner patios, upper roofs and outdoor stairs, and should meet the following requirements:
①1. The stairs should be made of sturdy and durable materials, and can withstand the horizontal load specified in the load code;
②When the floor height is less than 24m, the height of the stairs should not be less than 1.05m, and when the floor height is 24m and above (including middle and high-rise residential buildings), the height of the stairs should not be less than 1.10m.
③Stairs should not be left blank within 0.10m from the floor or roof; ④Stairs in residences, nurseries, kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and special activity places for children must be constructed to prevent children from climbing. When vertical rods are used as stairs, the net distance between the rods should not be greater than 0.11m;
⑤Cultural and entertainment buildings, commercial service buildings, sports buildings, garden landscape buildings and other places that allow children to enter activities. When vertical rods are used as stairs, the net distance of the rods should not be greater than 0.11m.
3. Height of stair handrail
The height of the interior staircase decoration should be 90cm. Of course, this data can be changed according to the actual situation. After all, the per capita height of each country is different. When the length of the stairs exceeds 5 meters, the height of the stair railing can be appropriately raised to 100cm. In addition, if there are children in the home, for safety reasons, the height of the stair railing should also be set at 100cm.
4.Outdoor staircase handrails
When the floor height is less than 24 meters, the outdoor public staircase handrail height should not be less than 105cm, and when the floor height is more than 24 meters, the outdoor staircase handrail height should not be less than 110cm.
